Unfathomable feelings

There's thrill in your glare

As if you're purposely putting yourself close to the burning flames,

Just enough to feel the heat on your skin

It almost feels like you have me

Tied to invisible strings

To disguise the grotesque flower

That wants to bloom from your chest

You seek vengeance

But it feels like a ghost

As if you killed it in the fire

And what replaced it

Seems unfathomable

So you use your sword

Instead of words,

Afraid to hear the truth

For it just may crush you

Like a boulder
